If only promises
paid the bills.

If they did, we could make
all of our wishes come true.

We could rescue lives, provide
loving care for our aged, educate our
kids, counsel our troubled. And we'd
have more than enough left over
to share among our people in Israel
and around the world.

Lots of good people have pledged to
the Allied Jewish Campaign and to
Operation Exodus. They want to
help bring thousands of Soviet Jews
to freedom. And they want to
continue the quality services our
Jewish agencies provide at home
and abroad.

These generous people are the
reason why Detroit is number one
in charitable giving.

But a pledge is a promise, after all—
and now the time has come to keep it.
With cash.

Please keep your promise. Send
your checks to the Allied Jewish
Campaign and to Operation Exodus,
163 Madison, Detroit, MI 48226-2180.
