21-year-olds "socialize diff-
erently."
As to having the event on
Thanksgiving night, said
Rabbi Schwartz, parents
with children in their teens
and above know "that by 7
p.m. these kids are sick of
being with their parents and
families."
Mrs. Rabinowitz said the
reunion, rather than a fund-
raising event or Sabbath
service, was planned be-
cause, while those programs
are very worthwhile, "there
is a group that just wants to
get together with their
friends in a non-threatening,
easy, comfortable kind of
way."
She said the sign-in list
from the evening will be
made available to any Jew-
ish organization, temple or
synagogue to help them pro-
vide programs to re-involve
the young singles with the
community. ❑
