Thanksgiving Night party at
the Metropolitan Musicafe in
Royal Oak.
The 9 p.m. event Nov. 22 is
designed for students and
non-students to "make
Jewish connections both old
and new," according to Janie
Rabinowitz, an organizer.
There will be a cash bar. A
minimal donation for the
benefit of the Michigan
Association for Ethiopian
Jewry will be requested at the
door.
The event has been endors-
ed by several area temples
and synagogues, including
Temples Shir Shalom and Kol
Ami, Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue and Congregations
Beth Abraham Hillel Moses,
Beth Shalom, Beth Achim
