U-M Hillel
Honors Donors

The Mandell L. Berman
Center for University of
Michigan Hillel will honor
those whose gifts made possi-
ble construction of the new
facility 2 p.m. Nov. 11 at
Hillel.
Mandell L. Berman, chair-
man of the Campaign for U-M
Hillel, will speak. Other
speakers include Mark
Schlussel, president of the
Jewish Welfare Federation of
Detroit; Ted Deutch, chair-
man of the Hillel Governing
Board; and Richard Joel, in-
ternational director of the
B'nai B'rith Hillel
Foundation.
A reception will conclude
the event, organized by
Samuel Frankel, Joel D.
Tauber and Herbert Wander,
chairmen of the fundraising
committee.
U-M Hillel, which hosts
more than 30 student
organizations at the Ann Ar-
bor campus, has experienced
a large increase in program-
ming. The new Berman
Center has more meeting
space than the former
building.
