Support Group

SPACE — Room to Grow For
Changing Families will spon.
sor a special four-week sup-
port group for widowed sur-
vivors of suicide 7:15-9:30
p.m. Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26.
Nov. 7 a topic drop-in discus-
sion group will meet entitled,
"Breaking Old Patterns —
Forming New Ones." No pre-
registration is required.
Nov. 13 a workshop, "Paren-
ting For Today's Hurried
Children" will be held at the
SPACE office. Bruce
Tabashneck will discuss
strategies for those who feel
they are "too pooped to
parent." He will also discuss
the men's role in parenting or
"how to get Dad involved."
For pre-registration, call
SPACE, 258-6606.
Nov. 14 two special drop-in-
discussion groups will be of-
fered: one for those men and
women who are widowed and
one for those who are either
separated or divorced. Pre-
registration is not required
for either group.
Nov. 20 a workshop, "Invisi-
ble Relevancy" will be held at
the SPACE office. Joel Ostro
will explore the process of
parenting. For pre-registra-
tion, call the SPACE office,
258-6606.
Nov. 21 a topic drop-in
discussion group will be held
entitled, "Holidays — Making
New Memories." No pre-
registration is required.
Drop-in discussion groups
are offered each Wednesday at
the SPACE office. Pre-regis-
tration is not required.
