wide open space. The high gloss
laminated white cabinets and the
floor of diagonal faux wood strips
lend to the expansive feeling of the
kitchen.
Over the breakfast table sits a
delightfully colorful painting depicting
lovers by West Bloomfield artist Jo
Rosen. Other lively touches include
a paint splattered wall phone and on
one counter, five custom ceramic
canisters, each in a different form and
pattern and unified by color.

brilliant colors and eclectic art, the
lower level radiates a funky, contem-

sleek, simple gray bar flows to your

neon sculpture of turquoise and
fuchsia.
Mr. Weiss said, "The neon piece
adds color and impact, and a bit of
`wow!' value but it doesn't take over."
The rugged gray quartz wall covering
behind the bar is studded with tur-
quoise quartz chips, picking up the
color in the neon.
Across from the bar is a games
table and chairs, handpainted with
vivid patterned squiggles.
The owner entertains often and says
the downstairs offers the ideal en-
vironment for a spirited get-together,
