owners' wish list, thus the marble light
cove that illuminates the massive
foyer.
The stunning 14-foot Lavar Kerman
floral patterned Persian rug in the
foyer is rich with color. Against the
wall to the right is a Mirak metal and
granite console table flanked by two
Charles R. Mackintosh wood chairs
with teal mohair seats.
Straight ahead, two eight-foot banks
of windows the length of the great
room offer a breathtaking view of the
lake. Ms. Sachse says the size of the
54-foot room was cause for concern.
"We wanted to fill it but not over fur-
nish it," she said.

Brueton sectionals and a lounge chair
covered in an off-white cotton bou-
cle fabric. Hand painted silk pillows
are covered in a Terri Roese seafoam
green and dusty rose fabric. The Agati
cocktail table has an ebony frame
with rose and teal granite inlay.
On the console table of dark red
mahogany with burl inset sits a
modern glass sculpture the owners
