He retired as managing editor (senior) of the Free Press in June 1989. In April 1990, Mr. Shine returned to the Free Press to become its publisher. Mr. Shine will speak on local, national and interna- tional media concerns that involve the Jewish community. At this meeting, all presidents of women's organizations of the Jewish community will be honored. There is a fee for the dessert reception which will precede the meeting. The items will be used in the exhibit at the Jewish • Community Center in June. Documents which are donated to the section will -become part of a permanent archives collection. The re- maining items will be taken on loan and returned to the Sylvia Ross strumental in developing the annual event. Mrs. Ross, past president of the B'nai B'rith Women's Council of Metro Detroit, is an executive board member of the Hillel Foundation at Wayne State University.
