University of Detroit. He
retired as managing editor
(senior) of the Free Press in
June 1989. In April 1990, Mr.
Shine returned to the Free
Press to become its publisher.
Mr. Shine will speak on
local, national and interna-
tional media concerns that
involve the Jewish
community.
At this meeting, all
presidents of women's
organizations of the Jewish
community will be honored.

The Archives Committee of
the National Council of
Jewish Women, Greater
Detroit Section, is seeking
materials for the Section's
Centennial Celebration in
June 1991. •
The following memorabilia
are sought: documents or
photos from families whose
members may have belonged
to the Jewish Women's Club
of Temple Beth El
(1891 - 1925), the Young
Women's Hebrew Association
(same era), or the Greater
Detroit Section (1925 on).
The items will be used in
the exhibit at the Jewish •
Community Center in June.
Documents which are
donated to the section will
-become part of a permanent
archives collection. The re-
maining items will be taken
on loan and returned to the

strumental in developing the
annual event.
Mrs. Ross, past president of
the B'nai B'rith Women's
Council of Metro Detroit, is
an executive board member of
the Hillel Foundation at
Wayne State University. She
is a board member of Con-
gregation B'nai Moshe.
