The Lawrence Street Ar-
tists Cooperative Gallery in
Pontiac will present Animal
Dreams, a one-person show by
artist/poet Donna Munro,
Nov. 9-Dec. 14. Ms. Munro, a
Grand Rapids artist, has
published a book of poems,
Animal Dreams, and a
number of articles which are
frequently illustrated by her
drawings.
Her paintings, in oil and
acrylic media, combine a
sense of design with a
childlike quality. The opening
reception will be from 6 to 9
p.m. on Nov. 9.

Israeli Sculpture
At Gallery Yakir
Israeli sculptor Aharon
Bezalel will be in Detroit
with an exhibition of over 25
years of work at the United
Hebrew Schools building
noon-5 p.m.-Oct. 28.
Mr. Bezalel is one of Israel's
foremost sculptors, working
in bronze, brass, aluminum
and wood. His pieces have
been collected by the Na-
tional Gallery in Washington,
the Spertus Museum in
Chicago and other collections.
The event is co-sponsored by
the Agency for Jewish Educa-
tion and Gallery Yakir. The
exhibition will continue
through Oct. 31. A portion of
the proceeds from sales will
benefit the Agency.

the theme of their musical
review. From Can Can to
Edith Piaf, a toast to Jacques
Brel, memories of Gigi,
reprises from Lorelei, "In
Paris and in Love" is a tribute
to musical comedy and
romance.
The performers include
Carolyn Tjon, vocalist, ac-
tress; Linda Beaupre, vocalist
and actress; Newell Kring,
vocalist; Linda Furuyama,
pianist; Steve Carow, percus-
sionist and Michele Robinson,
string bassist.
