"I have a greater pride and interest in seeing that the business does well since the company name reflects my name and 80 years of hard work," Ms. Tache says. 1916 Housewife Pauline Hack Tackles Shoe Business Nathan Hack, who im- migrated from Russia in 1900, was a traveling salesman.
