at the Bloomfield Township
Library. The speaker will be
David Siegel, who will discuss
"The Gap Between American
Expectations and Israeli
Reality."
Mr. Siegel, an Israeli,
received his BA in political
science from the University of
Vermont, and an MA in law
and diplomacy from the Flet-
cher School of Law and
Diplomacy. He is research of-
ficer at the Permanent Mis-
sion of Israel to the United
Nations.

the Israel Defense Force for
three years.
In 1976 he was appointed
chairman of the Young
Leadership of the World
Zionist Labor Movement and
then Deputy General Direc-
tor for the same movement.
Mr. Chesler also has served as
director of special projects for
the Youth Aliyah Department
of the Jewish Agency and as
General Secretary of the
Israel Public Council for
Soviet Jewry.
