Germany To Be
Discussion Topic

A round table discussion on
the new Germany, will be
held 7:45 p.m. Oct. 15, at
McGregor Memorial Con-
ference Center, Wayne State
University.
The evening will be devoted
to issues Germany must face
and implications of the
reunification for Europe and
the world. Participants will
include Keith Braun, 1990
Konrad Adenauer Founda-
tion/American Jewish Com-
mittee Exchange program
participant; Guy Stern, pro-
fessor of German and Slavic
languages and literatures at
WSU; and Peter Beerwerth,
deputy consul of the Federal
Republic of Germany. All
three participants have
recently returned from Ger-
many. The moderator will be
Sheldon Lutz.
Cosponsored by the
American Jewish Committee,
Detroit chapter, the German
Consulate of the Federal
Republic of Germany, the
Department of Political
Science and the Department
of German and Slavic
Languages and Literatures of
Wayne State University, the
program is open to all with no
admission charge.
