will begin its Bar/Bat Mitz-
vah Family Program 9 a.m.
Oct. 14 with "A Jewish
Neighborhood Field Trip."
The program is one of six co-
sponsored by the synagogue
and its Agency for Jewish
Education Hebrew School.
Scharit service will be
followed by brunch and a bus
tour to the Oak Park area in-
cluding a Jewish bookstore,
kosher butcher, kosher
bakery, mikveh, and a sofer
who writes Torah scrolls and
makes tefillin.
