Clemens, died Sept. 27. Born in Cleveland of Hungarian-Jewish im- migrant parents, Mr. Feder grew up in Detroit where he graduated from Cass Tech and became a typesetter. He owned a number of printing companies — Victory Prin- ting, Michigan Rotary Press, Wayne Graphics, Feder Press, Keystone Street Guide, Keystone Printing, and was well known in Detroit's graphic arts community. After a short retirement, Mr. Feder and his wife Sally owned and operated Morsal Marina on the Clinton River, until 1986, when they sold the marina and went into a second retirement. Mr. Feder was active in a number of clubs and service organizations, including past president of the Mt. Clemens Kiwanis, Adcraft Club of Detroit, and past commander of the Wyandotte Power Squadron, where he was ac- tive in downriver boating. Mr. Feder leaves his wife, Sally; son and daugter-in-law, David and Patricia of Grosse Pointe Shores; daughters and son-in-law, Beverly and Larry Angelosante of Union Lake, Maureen Ellen of Pontiac, Diane Kliebert of Mt. Clemens, Darlene Sherwood of Phoenix; sister, Irene Ruby of San Jose, Calif.; nine grandchildren; six great- grandchildren. Janet Courey, 53, Paralegal Secretary Janet "Penny" Courey, 53, of Farmington. Hills, died Oct. 2. Mrs. Courey was a para- legal secretary and was office manager for the law firm of Blum, Konheim, Elkin and Blum for 23 years. She was appointed to the Election Board of Canvassers for the city of Farmington Hills and was a member of the Republican Oakland County Leadership Counsel, a member of the 300 Club and was a past secretary of the Republican Club of Farm- ington Hills. She was also a member of the Oakland County Republican Forum. She leaves her husband, Richard Courey. It is impossible to learn the art of poetry second-hand.
