This agency offers Jewish educational oppor-
tunities for all ages, including nursery school
(in partnership with several area synagogues),
afternoon classes and community high school.
Classes for children with disabilities are avail-
able. The Midrasha, College of Jewish Studies
offers formal adult education, teachers train-
ing and certification, and a masters program.

Fresh Air Society provides opportunities for
recreation and education in a Jewish environ-
ment. Operations include the resident camps
in Brighton and Ortonville, outpost sites, a teen
trip to Israel and programs for children with
emotional impairments, as well as family camps.

for such purposes as medical expenses, security
deposits and small business needs. HFLA also
administers the community's student loans and
the home-buyer loan program of Federation's

justing to jobs, help is available through JVS.
College educational and financial planning is
available, as are classes for displaced home-
makers. Workshops provide vocational re-

facility on a 36-acre site which offers both pri-
mary care and medically advanced specialty
services. Nearly 20,000 patients are admitted
every year. Sinai Health Care System also
