In his desire to serve the Jewish com-
munity, Owen Perlman has given of his
time and energies on many fronts: to
Detroit's Jewish Welfare Federation
and B'nai B'rith, to the national United
Jewish Appeal Young Leadership Cab-
inet, to his home community of Ann
Arbor.
Seven years ago, Diane Ash began
her volunteer service career with the
Young Adult Division, serving as liaison
to the board of Jewish Home for Aged.
Today, she sits on the Jewish Family
Service board and fills several leader-
ship positions with the Federation
Women's Division.
This award goes to an individual
whose service and leadership of the
Federation Young Adult Division have
been most notable.
He has been selected for the
Wetsman Award in recognition of his
dedication and leadership capabilities.
Her devoted community service con-
tributed toward her selection as Green-
berg Award recipient.

Paul Magy has helped that Federa-
tion organization move to new heights
of involvement. During his term of
office as YAD president and now as
executive committee chairman, he has
encouraged outreach to unaffiliated
young adults and increased giving to
the Allied Jewish Campaign.
