Franci received a bachelor's
degree in art history from the
University of Michigan. She
is an assistant with the Con-

pursue a master's degree in
international affairs at Col-
umbia University.
Michael received his
bachelor's degree from the
Wharton School, University
of Pennsylvania, and his
MBA from Columbia Univer-
sity. He is a partner in the
consulting firm of Arthur
Schmidt and Associates.
A December wedding is
