The featured entertainment was
Craig Taubman of California. Taub-
man gave two vocal concerts — one
featuring traditional melodies and
children's songs for the holidays, the
second focusing on his Hebrew rock
tunes that appeal to teens and
adults.

Young and old enjoyed the Sept.
9 celebration which is becoming a
traditional opening for the High
Holiday season. Sponsored by The
Jewish News and Jewish Ex-
periences For Families at the Maple-
Drake Jewish Community Center,
"Apples & Honey and Lots, Lots
More" attracted hundreds of
families.
The afternoon program included
storytelling, crafts demonstrations,
cider making, games, information
booths and tours of the Center's new
Discovery Room for kids.
