Joining Maestro Davies will be soprano Kathleen Bat- tle. Ms. Battle will perform several works by George Frederick Handel, including "Eternal Source of Light Divine" from the Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne, "Piangero la sorte mia" from Guilio Cesare, and "Let the Bright Seraphim" from Samson. Performances will be 8 p.m. Sept. 20-21 and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 22. The North Rosedale Park Civic Association will present The Metropolitan Festival of Arts 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 15-16 at the North Rosedale Park Community Center and Park, 18445 Scarsdale at Glastonbury in Detroit.
