ty of Michigan Hillel began
Sept. 10. Classes offered this
year include Hebrew, Yiddish,
basic Judaism and "The Rise
and Fall of the Borscht Belt."
Hill St. Cinema will present
its first film of the year, This
is Spinal Tap, 8:45 p.m. and
10:30 p.m. Sept. 15.
AIPAC, a group dedicated to
maintaining and strengthen-
ing the relationship between
the United States and Israel,
will meet 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16.
Humanistic Judaism will
hold their first meeting 8 p.m.
Sept. 16. The group holds ser-
vices, lectures and social
events.
A Yom Kippur break fast
will be held at 8:15p.m. Sept.
