"Saks Fifth Avenue Affair,"
Saturday, September 15, 1990.
The Fifth Avenue Affair is a clue-
solving search through Saks Fifth
Avenue, Fairlane. The evening is
full of treasures, gifts and
surprises. Hors d'oeuvres and a
cash bar are available. The gala
begins at 7:30 p.m. at Saks Fifth
Avenue, Fairlane. Tickets are $150
benefactor, $75 patron, $50

The little black dress is turning
up in innumerable variations this
fall. Most are slim and short with
low-low necklines, and have what
is known in the trade as "youth
appeal." Carolyne Roehm's
version is a double-breasted
coatdress with potrait neckline in
contrasting satin fabric. Rows of
rhinestone buttons provide a
touch of flash but the only
accessory is lady-like button

Sinai Hospital Heritage Ball,
Wednesday, October 17, 1990.
Sinai Hospital will hold the second
annual Heritage Ball at 6:00 p.m.
for cocktails and 7:00 p.m. for
dinner and dancing at the Westin

This annual fund raising dinner
dance is a highlight at the Detroit
Institute of Arts. The evening
begins at 6:30. Tickets are $400 or

American Lung Association,
"Fantasia," Tuesday, December
4, 1990.
Holiday shopping begins at 3:00
p.m., and dinner is served at 7:00
p.m. at the Hyatt Regency,

produced by Leah Marks and
designers brought by Begadim is
at 8:00 p.m. The evening will finish
