country has some young
looks and styles for fall. The
furs are colorful and
lightweight. The styles are sporty and
chic. To keep in step with the latest
fur trends, many Detroit area furriers
are adding leather and fur
combinations to their collections.
"The newest style is the anorak or
the parka with a drawstring at the
waist and a patch pocket," says
Michael Ceresnie of Ceresnie and

and Adolfo with their latest looks.
The classic duffel coat is exciting
this season. The knee length version
in a swing style has a hood and toggle
encosures. Birger Christensen unveils
a pastel mink duffel, while Louis
Dell'Olio for Anne Klein has a green
dyed sheared mink coat. Many furs
include detachable hoods which are
in vogue this season.
The sheared furs are the biggest
fashion statement in long, almost
ankle length coats, or at the snappy
seven-eights length. "They sheared it
