ere are a few entries
from the best friend
photo spread that
were not included in the
back to school/family section
of the Aug. 24 issue of The
Jewish News. Ashley
Beckwith is 7 years old and
her best friend is her aunt
Paula Duke. Ashley loves
going shopping, going to the
zoo and bike-riding with her
aunt even though there is a
32-year age differential.
Kevin Golani, age 6, con-
siders his brother, Bradd,
age 3, a best friend. "He
gives me lots of hugs and lots
of kisses,"says Kevin.
MOTOWN MOVIES
Local actress Henrietta
Hermelin Weinberg plays
the role of attorney Wanda
Mester in the Detroit film
production of Let's Kill All
The Lawyers. She was re-
cently filming at the restau-
rant Cafe Cortina, where the
crew became hysterical over
her humorous performance.
Ms. Heremlin Weinberg just
finishes flushing the toilet
when she notices that a
waitress has slipped in front
of the bathroom door. She
seizes the opportunity to in-
form a prospective client
that a lawsuit is feasible.
First she suggests the panty-
hose company and then the
restaurant. She even adds
more water on the floor to
make a convincing case.
"I'm not very nice,"Ms.
Hermelin Weinberg says.
Since Ms. Heremlin
Weinberg recently had knee
surgery, her performance
Harriet Hermelin Weinberg
was with a knee bandage
and crutches that added to
the humor. About the crew's
reaction, "I hope it's as hys-
terical as they think it
is," she says.
