Akiva Welcomes
New Families
Akiva Hebrew Day School
PTA will welcome faculty and
40 new families at a dinner to
be held Sept. 16 at the school
building.
Barry Eisenberg, chairman
of the executive board, will in-
stall the executive board
members. Sharon Cohen and
Janice Roszler will be install-
ed as PTA co-presidents.
Other PTA board members
will also be installed.

Akiva PTA will hold Israeli
folkdancing classes at Akiva.
The one-hour classes are for
women only and will be

Assembly High Holy Day
Prayer Book to teach com-
munity members to "Become
a 90-Minute Machzor
Maven." The adult study com-
mission of the synagogue is
sponsoring the class, which
will be held 7:30 p.m. Sept.
