The MAKOR catalogue, a
directory of adult Jewish
education classes to be held
this fall through the Jewish
community, will be
distributed next week by the
Jewish Welfare Federation.
MAKOR (Source) is the
Federation-sponsored pro-
gram to promote adult Jewish
education. Individuals pledge

JPI To Begin
Sunday Courses
The Jewish Parents In-
stitute will begin Sunday
School classes for children 3
through 15 for the 1990-91
year on Sept. 9.
Classes take place from 10
a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and are
held at the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center. A
brunch follows registration.

a challah baking class in time

The class will be held at 1
p.m. Sept. 9. There will be a
$3 material fee and each par-
ticipant is asked to bring a
container for their challah.

12. Classes are held at Or-
chard Lake Middle School
Monday through Thursday
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6
p.m. to 10 p.m.
There is no fee. Free day
care for children 21/2 years old
and older is offered.
