LOUIS WEINGARDEN, 74, of West Bloomfield, died Sept. 1. He leaves his wife, Esther; son, Harvey; daughters and sons-in-law, Lora Weingarden and Michael Pasick, Lisa and Steven Kaplan of Southfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Morris and Henrietta, Harry, Sidney and Esther; sister, Celia; one granddaughter. Arthur Siegel, 70 Arthur Siegel, 70, of West Bloomfield, died Aug. 31. Mr. Siegel was born in Detroit and he was a counselor with the Detroit Public Schools. Mr. Siegel was a teacher and counselor for more than 40 years. He held BS and MA degrees from Wayne State University. Mr. Siegel was a 1st lieutenant in the WWII Army Air Corps. He was a member of Con- gregation Beth-Abraham- Hillel-Moses, B'nai B'rith and the Wayne State University Campus Club. He leaves his wife, Jeanne; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Colleen of Oak Park, Glenn and Karen of Franklin, Mass.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sylvia and Joseph Lambert of Bloomfield Hills, Florence and Ben Gallison of Farmington Hills; three grandchildren. Born in Boston, Mrs. Miller later moved to Detroit and became a member of Hadas- sah, Women's American ORT, B'nai B'rith Women, Adat Shalom Synagogue and the Friends of Hillel Day Shcool. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Newell and Myrna of Ann Arbor; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Harvey Kutinsky of Farmington Hills; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Ethel Driben of North Miami Beach, Fla., George and Evelyn Driben of Tamarac, Fla.; sisters and brother-in- law, Bella Driben of Bay Har- bor Island, Fla., Ruth and Harry Levy of Tamarac; eight grandchildren; two great- grandchildren. Billie Kay, 78 Billie Schweitzer Kay, 78, a former Detroiter of Tamarac, Fla., died Aug. 29. Mrs. Kay was a member of the Women's American ORT, a member of the Friends for Life, a past president of Neugarten Medical Aid, which assists people who can- not afford medical treatment, and a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans.
