Slates Opening

The Opening Assembly of
the B'nai B'rith Appeal will
be held 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at the
Skyline Club in Southfield.
Peter A. Perlman will serve
as chairman, with Nathan D.
Rubenstein and Susan Alter-
man as co-chairmen.
A first-hand report on the
Spring 1990 "March of the
Living" mission to Poland
and Israel will be given.
There will also be a special
ceremony honoring B'nai
,B'rith Appeal contributors.

Accountants Unit
Plans Meeting

B'nai B'rith Accountants
Unit will hold a dinner
meeting 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at
the Summit Apartments
Clubhouse.
The topic will be "Dressing
for Success in the 90s." The
speakers will be Ron Elkus,
Jaynn Truran (Shirtbox) and
Mark Gregory and David
Elkus (Barons).
The program will qualify
for two credit hours of C.P.E.
Dinner will be served, and
there is a charge. For reserva-

Sets Road Rally

City of Hope's local young
professionals chapter will
sponsor a "Foto Road Rally"
7 p.m. Sept. 8 at Applegate
Square to benefit the City of
Hope National Medical
Center.
In a "Foto Road Rally," par-
ticipants are given a destina-
tion they must reach by
following a prescribed route.
At the end of the rally, par-
ticipants must prove that
they followed the planned
route by showing photo-
graphs of specific items along
the way.
There is a charge which will
include dinner and prizes.
