The subjects of Mr. Kellett's works are interesting people; the more than 20 paintings have been executed in acrylic over the last several years. The artist studied under Sarkis Sarkisian and Guy Pallazola at the Society of Arts and Crafts, (now the Center for Creative Studies). Marygrove Offers Musical Comedy A production of Stephen Schwartz's musical comedy, Pippin is in rehearsal at the Marygrove Theatre on the Marygrove College campus. The musical will run through Sept. 9. Proceeds from ticket sales will go toward buying new lighting equipment and making other renovations in the theatre. Pippin takes place about 780 AD. in Charlemagne's Holy Roman Empire. With a jazz combo, a company of 14 performers sing and dance the life of Pippin, Charle- magne's oldest son.
