Jennifer Ehrlich, the daughter of Kieve and Mona Ehrlich, has been named the recipient of the Ida Moss Memorial Israel Scholarship. Corbin Bell, the son of Barry and 'Ibrry Bell, has been nam- ed the recipient of the Arlene Vivian Moss Memorial Israel Scholarship. Both Ms. Erlich and Mr. Bell used their scholarships this summer while participating in the BBYO Israel Summer In- stitute, a six-week study tour of Israel. The Moss family has spon- sored scholarships for Israel since 1970, and the awards are presented annually to worthy members of Michigan Region AZA or BBG. Beth Cousens, the daughter of Mark and Bonnie Cousens, and Jason Porth, the son of Manuel Porth and Dianne Porth, are recipients of the Joan Kalef Memorial Leader- ship Awards. The awards recognize leadership achieve- ment within BBYO and are in the form of a fully-paid registration to the BBYO In- ternational Convention, be- ing held this month at the B'nai B'rith Perlman Camp in Starlight, Pa. Lisa Goren, the daughter of Aaron and Sherry Goren, is the recipient of the William Katz Memorial Leadership Award. The scholarship will enable Lisa to attend the In- ternational Leadership Train- ing Conference of BBYO, tak- ing place this month at the B'nai B'rith Perlman Camp in Starlight, Pa. The William Katz Memorial Leadership Award was established by Harry B. Keidan Lodge of B'nai B'rith in memory of William Katz, past president of the lodge and its long-time financial secretary. Six AZA and BBG leaders are recipients of Irving and Sarah Pitt Leadership Scholarships. The scholar- ships were established in 1989 to allow young people the opportunity to gain the skills and motivation necessary to get them involv- ed in leadership — now in BBYO and later in the Jewish and general communities. The recipients are Pam Bar- man, Shalom Aviv BBG; Amy Braslaw, Glazer BBG; Sam Harwin, Jolson AZA; Ethan Horowitz, Marx AZA; Jen- nifer Kristall, Shira BBG; and Stacy Glickman, Achayot BBG. Gorosh Named To BBYO Board The Michigan BBYO Board of Directors elected Bruce Gorosh of Farmington Hills as chairman for a second term. Mr. Gorosh has been a member of the BBYO Board of Directors since 1984 and served as vice chairman. Elected to serve as vice chairmen were Ruth Grey and Steve Schanes. Elected to serve as delegates-at-large through 1991 are: Susan Alterman, Bruce Gorosh Eliot Charlip, Betty Eidelman, Marcia Friedman, Lisa Goren, Norma Gorosh, Ida Nathan, Ernest Needle, Philip Neuman, Sarah Pitt, Jason Porth, Brad Rochlen, Rachel Rosen, Neal Schechter, and Richard Taubman. Elected to serve as delegates-at-large through 1992 are: Beth Cohen, Gerald Corlin, Ronald Elkus, Alan Feuer, Andrea Goldberg, Lawrence Hyman, Sharon Moss Lebovic, Lawrence Millman, David Nelson, Marla Parker, Steven Scharg, Sheri Schiff, David L.
