Rabbi Ely J. Rosenzveig,
spiritual leader of Congrega-
tion Kodimoh in Springfield,
Mass., will be the speaker at
an Israel Bond Tribute Din-
ner honoring his father, Rab-
bi Charles H. Rosenzveig of
Southfield, 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Rabbi Charles Rosenzveig,
recipient-elect of the State of
Israel's New Life Award, is
the founder and executive
vice president of the
Holocaust Memorial Center
in West Bloomfield.
Rabbi Ely Rosenzveig at-
tended Yeshiva Beth Yehudah
Torah Academy through high
school. He attended Wayne
State University and under-
took a full-day talmudic
course of study at Detroit's
Bet Midrash rIbrah Ohr. Since
then, the rabbi has earned a
law degree from the Univer-
sity of Michigan Law School,
was admitted to the New York
State Bar, and was a law
fellow at Yeshiva University.
He was ordained in 1984.
