The Janis Wetsman Col-
lection, which started in her
home, now has an annex in
the Wisper and Wetsman of-
fice. Her gallery is an
outgrowth of her personal
travels. She shows 20th cen-
tury decorative arts, in-
cluding furniture, quilts,
wood vessels and metal
pieces.
Janis Wetsman is busy
preparing a contemporary
American quilt exhibit to be
held this spring. "It's a
whole movement that's sur-
facing quickly, and I want

At The Mall

Amateur photographers are
invited to submit their inter-
pretation of MeadowBrook
Village Mall's sixth annual
photo contest, "Splash!" All
entries must reflect the
"Splash" theme: fun on the
beach, by the pool, lost sum-
mer days to a rain shower, or
some other interpretation.
The contest is co-sponsored by
Moto Photo, located in
MeadowBrook Village Mall.
Entries must be 8"x10" or
larger, mounted, and ready to
hang. The number of entries
is not limited and may be
either color or black and
white. Entries will be ac-
cepted Aug. 20-24 at either
the mall office between 8:30
a.m. and 5 p.m. or at Moto
Photo during normal mall
hours.

Mainstreet
Gives Concert

The City of Southfield
Parks and Recreation, Divi-
sion of Cultural Arts, will pre-
sent Mainstreet, as part of
the 1990 Concerts in the Park
Series 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at the
Prudential Sun Bowl, 3000
Prudential Town Center.
There is no charge.
The Mainstreet songs range
from Broadway hits, country,
jazz to light rock.
