tough time to be in his posi-
tion. I remember him as be-
ing a member of one of our
first classes, and now to see
him as school board presi-
dent is a wonderful, wonder-
ful thing for all of us in the

Open House Picnic

Congregation Shaarey

house for non-affiliated
families and a kindergarten

JFS Plans
Support Group

Jewish Family Service has
extended the registration of
the new support group ses-
sion, "Grandparents of Single
Parent Families." Interested
grandparents are encouraged
to participate. The group will
begin on Oct. 3 and meet on
Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3
p.m. for ten weeks.
The support group will be
conducted by Marilyn Hertz-
berg and Marilyn Wineman.
Topics such as "What are
Your Responsibilities?" and
