In 'Shalom Sesame'

Fourteen-year-old television
actor Jeremy Miller, who has
been starring for the past six
years in the series, "Growing
Pains," was a recent guest of
the Jewish National Fund
and, at his request, planted a
tree in the JNF Peace Forest
in Jerusalem.
Mr. Miller was in Israel for
two weeks to shoot "Shalom
Sesame," a co-production of
the Children's Television
Workshop and Israel Educa-
tional TV, which was adapted
from the American "Sesame
Street." In the show, "Mup-
pet" characters, along with
American and Israeli celebri-
ty hosts, present an enjoyable
and educational vision of
Israel's people, culture, tradi-
tions, places and history.
Home videos of the produc-
tion will be released at the
end of this year.
