Tessler. Receives
Scholarship Award

Rachel Lynn Tessler is a
1990 recipient of the Wexner
Graduate Fellowship and the
Council of Jewish Federa-
tion's FEREP scholarship
(Federation Executive
Recruitment Education Pro-
gram). Ms. Tessler is the only
Detroiter, one of 17 Wexner
and 11 FEREP national
scholars, and the only joint
recipient.
Ms. Tessler, daughter of Dr.
Warren and Charlotte Tessler,
graduated from the Universi-
ty of Michigan in 1989 with
a BA in Judaic studies. She
has spent the last year at
Midreshet Yerushelyaim, a
graduate program of the
Jewish Theological Seminary
in Jerusalem, Israel. She will
be attending the joint pro-
gram of Columbia University
and the Jewish Theological
Seminary for a dual master's
degree in social work and
Judaic studies.
