Holman's Winning
At Golf, That Is

Akron, Ohio — Who says
Marshall Holman, the Profes-
sional Bowling Association's
all-time leading money win-
ner, isn't winning any money
these days?
He is — but on the golf
course, not on the bowling
alley.
Hall of Famer Holman, who
is not among the PBA's 20 top
money winners in this season
for the first time in several
years, concluded his par-
ticipation in the recent
Celebrity Golf Challenge at
Lake Tahoe, Nev., by shooting
the final day's low round, a
71. His three-day aggregate
score of 231 placed him in a
tie for 14th with baseball
celebrities Rollie Fingers and
Davey Johnson.
Holman's golf prowess earn-
ed him $7,000.

Corrections

Hauser and Baun Custom
Builders is the correct name
of the team which won the 35
and Over West Bloomfield
Softball League champion-
ship, as reported in The
Jewish News Aug. 3. Steve
Lesser, brother to Roger
Lesser, singled in a run in the
team's go-ahead inning.
