Sets Program

CHaZaKaH, the Adat
Shalom seniors group, will
meet 1 p.m. Aug. 23 for a look
at the lives of Soviet arrivals
and the Family-To-Family
Program.
Marilyn Levine and Susan-
na Berger will speak. Mrs.
Levine is community service
vice president of the National
Greater Detroit Section,
which co-sponsors the Family-

Family program with the
Jewish Welfare Federation

Women's Division. Mrs.
Berger and her husband,
Michael, immigrated to
Detroit from the Soviet Union
in the early 1970s.

Dome of the Rock is actually
anodized aluminum and
replaced the previous dome
in 1956. The mosque itself
dates from 691 CE.
