of Michigan. The Shenkmans,
of Farmington Hills, were
married Sept. 15, 1940.
The trauma center provides
emergency care to children
injured in • accidents, the
leading cause of death in
children. It is the only Level
I pediatric trauma center in
Michigan.
The center will also develop
new ways to treat and
rehabilitate trauma victims
by expanding research efforts
in trauma and trauma-
related problems.
