Exodus Campaign Names Smith Laurence Smith has been appointed the chair of the Ann Arbor Operation Exodus campaign to raise money to settle the Soviet Jews in Israel. Smith is vice president for University Marketing and Student Affairs at Eastern Michigan University. He has appointed the following steer- ing committee members: Susan Ayer, Barbara Bergman, Jesse Bernstein, Stanton Elias, Sheila Feigelson, Liz Fried, Bob Hern, Jerold Lax, Carolyn Lichter, Nancy Margolis, youngsters will operate the stand each Sunday in their Birmingham neighborhood through July. Children in the community are receiving Operation Ex- odus tzedaka boxes this sum- mer.
