Singles Study
At Hebrew U.
Jerusalem — A program
providing both study and
touring opportunities in
Israel for Jewish singles over
age 50 will be conducted Oct.
21-Nov. 4 under the auspices
of the department of special
academic programs of the
Hebrew University of
Jerusalem Rothberg School
for Overseas Students.
The program is aimed at
singles who want to visit
some of Israel's major sites
and learn something about
Israel's history, society,
politics and development from
Hebrew University lecturers.
The study tour, for singles
from English-speaking coun-
tries, is called Israel Update
and will examine such issues
as the Arab-Israeli conflict,
ethnic groups in Israel, in-
tegration of immigrant Soviet
Jews and Israel and the
media. Participants will in-
clude singles living in Israel
as well as those from abroad.

counter for traditional
singles, Aug. 17-19, at the
Lanier Plaza Hotel in
Atlanta.
The weekend will center
around the traditional Shab-
