I ENTERTAINMENT I Readers Theater Holds Auditions Readers Theater, the short- story reading group at the Maple-Drake Jewish Com- munity Center, will hold open auditions in the DeRoy Theatre between 7 and 9 p.m. July 16. Individuals wishing to become part of the ensemble should prepare a two-three- minute cutting from a short story of their choice. Directed by Yolanda Fleischer, Readers Theater has just finished its third season. The group is pattern- ed after "Selected Stories," a New York-based ensemble of professional actors who read short stories to audiences at a small theater in Manhattan. Mack Pitt Plays Inglenook The Neighborhood Project and the City of Southfield will co-sponsor a summer con- cert featuring the Mack Pitt Orchestra, 3 p.m. July 15 at Inglenook Park, 12 Mile Road between Evergreen and Lahser Road. Kosher refreshments will be sold. The Neighborhood Project lends money to Jewish families settling in Oak Park and Southfield. The concert is free.
