Miss Kieva attended Cor-
nell University for a business
degree. She is employed at
Regal Imports. Her fiance
earned degrees in economics
and political science at
Yeshiva University. He is

An erroneous announce-
ment was published by The
Jewish News on June 15 in-
dicating that Sidney and
Myrna Konikow of Farm-
ington Hills were announcing
the engagement of their
daughter Mario to Darol
Robert Sipher, son of Jerome
and Rosalind Sipher of
Southfield.
The Jewish News has since
been advised by both families
that these two young people
are not and never have been
engaged.
We apologize to the two
families for the publication of
this announcement. It is
regrettable that our engage-

which is offered as a com-

in Because of That War, a
feature-length documentary
about the impact of the
Holocaust on the children of
survivors.
Written and directed by Or-
na Ben-Dor Niv, winner of the
Film Critics' Award as the
Best Israeli Film (1988) and
winner of special awards at
the Berlin Film Festival and
International Leningrad
Film Festival (1989), the film
will have its premier showing
in the Detroit area. There is
a charge.
