The 49th annual conven-
tion of the Department of
Michigan and Ladies Aux-
iliary, Jewish War Veterans of
the USA, will take place June
22-24 at the Marriott Hotel in
Southfield.
Awards and recognition will
be given and scholarships will
be awarded 7:30 p.m. June 22
at the Memorial Home.
Refreshments will be served.
At 9 a.m. June 23, services
will be conducted at Con-
gregation Beth Achim in
Southfield. At 6:30 p.m., a
tribute program honoring
Commander Ely J. Katz and
President Florence Weber
will be given at a banquet at
the Marriott.

memorial services, brunch
and elections will be held.
