Ray A. Shapero, 63, of Novi
died June 16.
Mr. Shapero was president
and CEO of Quael Corpora-
tion — a chain of drugstores
including Shapero's and
Schettler's. He was chairman
of the Michigan Merchants
Council, a board member for
25 years of the National
Association of Chain
Drugstores, a board member
of the Affiliated/Associated
Chain Drugstores, a member
of the Executive Committee
