Create A Hit TV Series Or
Else!"
Juggling the two, in an un-
forgiving town that thrives
on good Nielsen ratings and

real "Quantum Leap" of
faith for a 34-year-old from
Highland Park, N.J.
But for the past half-
decade, Jacobs has ac-
complished this task, pro-
ducing the syndicated TV
series "Charles in Charge,"
with Scott Baio; NBC's "My
Two Dads," featuring Paul
Reiser; and a comedy airing
this summer on NBC called
"Singer & Sons."
Even though Hollywood is
chock full of Jewish produc-
tion executives, Jacobs is
probably the only one who
refuses to tape his shows
