RAPHAEL SALON A Dabour gunboat gave chase but was outrun. Seven gunmen were put ashore and took cover under bushes on the sand dunes. Cobra attack helicopters rushed to the scene but had to make sure the invaders were indeed terrorists and not IDF soldiers or civilians before they opened fire. Four terrorists were fatally shot by helicopter gunners or soldiers of the Givati Brigade sent to the scene. Details of the interroga- tion of the others was passed on to the United States. Former Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin told Israel Radio that intelligence reports received about five months ago indicated that Abbas was in Libya plann- ing a seaborne assault on Israel. It was not known, however, when or where it would occur. The Israeli representative of the Cypriot Marina Marine Co., which manufac- tures high-speed fiberglass boats, confirmed that 50 of them were sold to Libya a few years ago and the Li- byans built 50 more to the same design. There are also -about 50 such boats in Israel, used by the police or in civilian hands. Vandals Caught After Painting Rabbi's Door Copenhagen (JTA) — Two 20-year-olds admitted spray- painting anti-Semitic slogans and a swastika on the door of the building where the chief rabbi of Denmark lives. The pair was arrested on the way from Rabbi Bent Melchior's building to Kristal Street, where the main synagogue is located, with spray cans of black paint in their possession. The police reported they confessed and said they were protesting against Israeli policy in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. According to the police, the youths have no prior police records. The newspaper Berlingske Tidende later quoted Melchior as saying he did not believe a wave of anti- Semitism from other Euro- pean countries was reaching Denmark. • NAILS • HAIRWEAVING • EXTENSIONS •SKIN CARE • EUROPEAN FACIALS BY ELIZABETH • ELECROLYSIS tot RAPHAEL SALON • Nails • Hairweaving • Extensions • Skin Care 6231 Orchard Lake Road • West Bloomfield 626-9877 In Sugar Tree Open Sundays MONDAY, JUNE 14, 1990 7:30 P.M.
