moved to Dearborn last Oc-
tober, when Kevin became
tourney director.
Since then, Charni has
been freelancing as a
meeting planner for her
former employer and has
joined National Council of
Jewish Women, Detroit Sec-
tion.

Miller Triumphs
In Franklin Meet

Jared Miller of Bloomfield
Hills sailed through the
Franklin Racquet Club's
Memorial Day Junior Open
tennis tournament,
defeating No. 2 seed Rory
McKinney of Grand Blanc,
6-0, 6-1, for the boys 14 divi-
sion singles championship.
Brad Dubin reached the
boys 14 semifinals before
losing a three-set match to
McKinney.
In boys 16 and 10, Brian
Stewart and Justin Schram
were consolation event
winners, respectively, while
in boys 12, Seth Hellman
was consolation runner-up.
Eric Brown was a boys 10
semifinalist.
In girls 14, Carrie Rose
reached the semifinals.
