The Jewish Community
Center's Maple-Drake
building will host the magic
of Matt Jacobson 2 p.m. June
10 in Shifman Hall.
Jacobson, a resident of
Bloomfield Hills, will be
assisted by his parents,
Michael and Harriet, and
friend, Jennifer Greenebaum.
His hour-long matinee
features about 20 tricks, from
Houdini's Metamorphosis to
Las Vegas-type illusions such
as sawing an audience
member in half. All of
Jacobson's tricks are family-
oriented.
Jacobson was born the
same day as renowned magi-
cian Harry Blackstone Sr.
and in the same hospital
where Houdini died.
For the past year, he has
been performing his magic in
New York.

Names Officers

The affiliate groups at Tem-
ple Israel have installed new
officers for the 1990-91 year.
The Sisterhood officers are:
