For Service is a national
organization which con-
ducts summer work camps
annually. The purpose of
the work camps is to
enable Jewish youth and
young people of other
religious backgrounds to
perform meaningful acts of
service in communities
throughout the country.
This summer, a group from
AJSS will conduct a neigh-
borhood rehabilitation pro-
ject on the east side of
Detroit. AJSS needs a
15-passenger van to use
from July 13-August 17.
