Jennifer Silver's peers think she's an incredible dancer.

Eleven-year-old Karen
Golan and 12-year-old Jor-
dan Scharg took Joe Cornell
ballroom dance lessons this
year — and were honored as
its students of the year. They
received the "Thoughtfulness
of Others Award."

Golan wanted to learn
ballroom dancing so she
wouldn't be nervous at bar
mitzvah receptions.
Scharg said he had a lot of
fun learning the different
dances. And although Golan
prefers the cha cha to other

the trio enjoys tap and jazz.
Melissa Lynn, 10, has been
taking tap for seven years
and said she wouldn't mind
